Welcome as a Nursing Assistant for part-time employment at Barkarby Health Center!

The health center is located a few minutes' walk from Barkarby commuter station.

It takes about 15 minutes to Stockholm C. Barkarby is a rapidly growing area, and with a perfect geographical location and appealing population base, we want to offer you the opportunity to help develop primary care in this part of Stockholm. We currently have about 8,200 registered patients.

We are a medium-sized health center and have close collaboration and dialogue with each other across professional boundaries. We have short decision-making paths and a high degree of participation in the staff group.

Job Responsibilities:

All tasks performed as a nursing assistant in our home care, such as medication administration, catheter management, wound dressing, and sample collection. We have a well-organized home care service and want to provide the best care. You will work quite independently but also together with your colleagues in the team.

This is done based on individual delegations where it is required that you pass knowledge tests and demonstrate practically that you have the knowledge required for the assignment.

Employment Type:

Part-time employment. Working hours Monday to Friday. Start date by agreement.

Qualifications:

You must be a trained nursing assistant with proof of a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare and eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. You have a few years of professional experience and are confident in your skills. You have previous experience from primary care and home care. A B driver's license is required. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language.

  • background checks are applied before a decision on employment according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks at employment.
  • employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment health examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
  • in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
