Regionsjukhuset Karsudden in Katrineholm is a forensic psychiatric hospital with 155 beds, offering highly specialized national healthcare. Most patients are treated according to the Act on Forensic Psychiatric Care (LRV). The goal of forensic psychiatric care is to improve individual patients' mental health to enable them to live in society. Forensic psychiatric care also considers community protection by working to prevent recidivism. At Regionsjukhuset Karsudden, we call it preparing patients for the future. Regionsjukhuset Karsudden is one of Sweden's largest forensic psychiatric hospitals where ongoing development work takes place. As an occupational therapist, you will have significant involvement in this. We are now looking for a substitute for one of our occupational therapists at the Activity Center, a unit consisting of seven occupational therapists, one physiotherapist, one health developer, and 21 activity supporters. You will also belong to a multidisciplinary care team and work with individual, community-preparatory interventions through meaningful and goal-oriented activities where the individual is at the center. Your Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you play an important role in supporting and motivating patients to achieve the goals in their care plans. You are responsible for occupational therapy assessments, evaluations, treatments, follow-ups, documentation, and training both individually and in groups. As an occupational therapist, you are part of a multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, social workers, psychologists, physiotherapists, caregivers, nurses, and staff within our Activity Center.

Your Qualifications

You are a licensed Occupational Therapist. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and expect you to have personal qualities such as good collaboration skills, responsiveness, and clarity, as well as being communicative and confident in yourself.

Employment Type

Substitute, full-time. Monday - Friday. Until August 2027, with a chance of extension. Start date according to agreement.
