You like when one day is not the same as the other and think it would be fun and challenging to provide patients with specialized nursing care at home, at the same level as the care provided in hospitals.

About Us

SSIH - specialized nursing care at home works with patients of different ages and diagnoses, all with specialized healthcare needs. About half of our patients are fully connected to us and are often in a palliative stage of their illness, where we have the medical responsibility for the patient's care and take care of all the patient's complex needs over time. The other half of our patients are intervention patients, meaning they are connected to us for a limited time and we are responsible for a defined task. The patient usually has another clinic affiliation where the medical responsibility also lies.

Your Responsibilities

Working as a nurse at SSIH is inspiring and developing both professionally and personally. The work provides a broad competence in both medical technical aspects and in the ability to see the whole picture around the patient and the possibility of specialized care at home.

As an SSIH nurse, you perform specialized interventions at the patients' homes and can provide care under essentially the same conditions as in hospitals. SSIH makes both planned and emergency visits around the clock, every day of the week. The position as a nurse involves working hours scheduled for both weekdays and weekends, day and evening.

Your Competence

You who are applying for a position with us are a licensed nurse or specialist nurse in a relevant specialty, with a great interest in caring for and meeting patients and relatives. We would like you to have previous experience working outside the hospital, in pre-hospital, basic, or specialized home healthcare, and have several years of professional experience as a nurse.

You have a driver's license with class B (for manual transmission vehicles).

As a nurse at SSIH, you need to be flexible and adaptable in your approach. The work requires you to be confident, have the ability to work independently and make your own decisions. We also believe that you have good initiative and enjoy collaborating within and between professions. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Permanent employment with start date according to agreement.
