Job Responsibilities
As a dietitian at the Children's and Youth Clinic in Halmstad, you will be offered a varied and developing job with nutritional treatment of children and adolescents. The position primarily involves outpatient work where you meet patients with growth disorders, eating difficulties, type-1 diabetes, obesity, food allergies, and celiac disease. You will be part of a team consisting of three dietitians, two of whom work in outpatient care and one in inpatient care, but we help each other and cover for each other as needed. We also have a task towards child habilitation.
Nutritional treatment is a natural part of care at the Children's and Youth Clinic, and the dietitian's expertise is both valuable and in demand. Here, there is an open atmosphere, and it is never far to someone to consult regarding complex issues. Together with doctors, pediatric nurses, and other healthcare staff, the dietitian has a natural place in the team to provide good and safe care.
About the Workplace
The Children's and Youth Clinic in Halmstad is a specialist care clinic for children and adolescents aged 0–17 years. There are three care departments, a day care unit, a children's outpatient clinic, a neonatal clinic, and a children's emergency department.

Qualifications
To apply for this position, you must be a licensed dietitian with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required.
You who are applying are a driven person who enjoys both teamwork and working independently. You are flexible and have a good ability to prioritize and structure your work. In your interactions with patients, you are attentive and caring. Of course, you have a genuine interest in working with children, adolescents, and their families. To find the right colleague for the dietitian group, great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
