We are looking for residents in radiology who will have the opportunity to participate in the work at a forward-thinking, modern, and expanding clinic.

About the Position

As a resident at Röntgen Halmstad, you will receive ongoing supervision to gradually grow into the role of a radiologist.

Responsibilities will increase continuously with a good balance between security and professional development. The clinic is characterized by good collegiality with a strong focus on education and helpfulness, to achieve the highest value for the patient.

Working hours are during the day, with on-call duties in the evenings and weekends, and standby at night.

About the Workplace

The Ambulance, Diagnostics, and Health department is regional and comprises approximately 1,100 employees. Röntgen Halland is divided into three service points: Kungsbacka, Varberg, and Halmstad.

The radiology department in Halmstad consists of conventional radiology, fluoroscopy, intervention, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, as well as mammography and regional responsibility for nuclear medicine. In Halmstad, 23 doctors work, of which 10 are residents.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physician with a strong interest in radiology.

The position requires good collaborative skills as you will work in a team with physician colleagues, radiology nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. You have the ability to see the whole picture and consider the larger perspective. You communicate clearly and ensure that your message gets through. Furthermore, we see that you are flexible and easily adapt to new circumstances. The role requires a strong ability to be decisive, but also humility regarding your limitations. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
