About the Assignment:

A 10-year-old boy needs a respite caregiver. He enjoys active games and play. He requires support during showering, dressing and undressing, toilet visits, and meal situations. As a respite caregiver, you need to have experience with neurodevelopmental disorders, be very patient, and think several steps ahead as the client does not have a consequential thinking.

Your Qualifications:

• Experience with neurodevelopmental disorders
• Patience

About the Position:

6 hours/month. Weekdays 16:30-18:30 and a few hours on weekends. Every other week. Start as soon as possible.

As a companion, you will accompany a client with a disability on various activities. This may include shopping, visiting a museum, or perhaps having coffee. As a respite caregiver, you relieve family members, for example, a child with a disability in the home or local area. This can be so that parents can have some personal time with other siblings.

According to the law on background checks and God Omsorg's policy, anyone working with minors must present a certificate from the police's criminal and suspicion register before employment.
