Personal Assistant Needed for a Woman in Beautiful Ljusterö

Do you want to work with something meaningful in a fantastic archipelago environment? We are now looking for a female personal assistant for a woman with physical disabilities living in Österåker municipality, in the scenic Ljusterö.

She leads an active life with her adult children and enjoys being outdoors, gardening, tending to flowers, and going out to eat. She is studying Swedish at SFI and would like to practice the language at home as well.

As a personal assistant, you will be an important support in her daily life – both at home and when she wants to go out and do things.

About the Role

You will help her with:

• Transfers and personal hygiene
• Daily chores at home
• Communication and support when it is difficult for her to express her needs
• Facilitating activities outside the home
• Exercise and light massage
• Use of household appliances
• Assistance with the breathing mask

She uses a wheelchair and lives with an MS-like condition. It is important that you actively ask if she needs help, as it can sometimes be difficult for her to ask for support herself.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Attentive and empathetic
• Responsible and reliable
• Physically capable and confident in providing practical support
• Experienced in personal assistance (preferred but not required)
• A woman (request from the client)

Working Hours

There are several options depending on what you prefer as an assistant:

• Day/evening shifts: 08:00–21:00
• Night shifts: 21:00–08:00 (awake night, paid for the entire shift)

The position may start as a temporary position, but for the right person, there is an opportunity for permanent employment.
