The company is expanding, and we are now looking for a:

Technical Sales Representative

We are primarily looking for someone with sales skills and experience in the railway service sector, preferably with mechanical experience as a service technician or in calculating maintenance costs. You are an active and mechanically interested person who enjoys scheduling customer visits and building relationships.

The Position

Customer visits are usually conducted as inspections on-site at railway lines or industries, where you help customers solve their problems.

The district is within Sweden, where you take the initiative to create new contacts and schedule rewarding customer visits or inspections with both new and already established customers. You will also be responsible for writing your own quotes after customer visits or inquiries.

ROVAB is a well-known and strong player in the industry with over 30 years of experience, approved quality standards, and quality systems. You have very strong support with expertise within the company and a good reputation among customers. This makes the sales work easier.

Together, we work as a close-knit team, where all employees contribute their competencies to achieve maximum results for the entire group.

Your location can be from a home office somewhere within the Sundsvall, Mälardalen, and Norrköping area. However, for the right person, other locations may also be possible.

Qualifications

We are simply looking for someone with sales skills and practical experience in mechanics, maintenance planning, or calculating and saving on maintenance and wear costs. It is also important that you have the interest and willingness to learn new things.

Having some form of previous experience in B2B sales is beneficial, but it is not an absolute requirement if you have a strong profile otherwise.

It is an advantage if you have contacts within the railway industry and preferably if you have an interest and knowledge of lubricants, oils, or oil filtration.

It is positive if you see yourself as a “problem solver” and enjoy traveling and making your own measurements and assessments.

You need to be somewhat like an “entrepreneur within the company” with your own sales planning, a “nose for business,” and “good footwork” to help your customers and prospects save money where it is most needed. Even if you are out on your own, you are part of and contribute to our strong team effort.

The job requires that you can express yourself well in Swedish both orally and in writing and be understood in English. You obviously have a B driver's license. A collective agreement exists, and a probationary period may apply. For the right person, there are good opportunities for development within the company.

Application

In this recruitment, we are collaborating with Teknisk Säljkraft. The contact person is Kurt Ståhl, whom you can reach by phone: 0739-465 805. We will conduct interviews on an ongoing basis, so please send in your application as soon as possible. Apply easily separately at: www.teknisksaljkraft.se by February 28 at the latest. Welcome with your application!
