Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan) makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion SEK each year. This is the taxpayers' money we manage. It is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we thoroughly examine each case, adhere to laws and regulations, inform and guide, care, and show compassion. This is a job for you who want to take responsibility. Welcome to Försäkringskassan.
The Department for Disability and Permanently Reduced Work Capacity administers a large number of social insurance benefits, including assistance compensation, sickness and activity compensation, and compensation for work-related injuries. The Legal Support operational area is responsible for the department's review operations, litigation in court, and the legal support close to case handling. Together, this operational area will serve as a force and engine in the legal quality work of the department. The review units are now to be strengthened with additional colleagues.
Investigations, analyses, and teamwork
As a reviewer, you safeguard citizens' rights by conducting a new comprehensive review of decisions where individuals have requested a reassessment of Försäkringskassan's decisions. In your work, you actively strive for continuous improvement of quality in work processes and case handling and support learning in the handling of individual cases.
