A four-star hotel with 1200 tastefully decorated rooms and magnificent views of the city, as well as several popular restaurants and bars with something for every taste. Here you will find over 40,000 square meters of experience space for parties, events, shows, conferences, and congresses – all under one roof. Gothia Towers is part of the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is highly engaged and enjoys working in a team.

We see that you are driven, structured, and meticulous. You enjoy providing service and are attentive to what the guest wants. You like to work at a fast pace and can take on tasks where needed.

We prefer that you have experience in hotel reception work, but other areas of the hotel and service industry are also meritorious. You can express yourself well in both spoken and written form, in Swedish and English, and additional languages are considered a plus. We place great value on interest and engagement, and personal suitability is crucial.

We are now looking for new colleagues for these two roles

Front Office

In the role of receptionist, you are the one who greets the guest upon arrival and ensures that the guest receives a pleasant welcome, correct information, and service during their stay with us. The receptionist role exists at both Gothia Towers and our sister hotel Upper House. The work involves daily reception tasks such as check-in and check-out, upselling, and administrative work, e.g., invoicing. You will have ongoing contact and collaboration with several departments in the house, such as Housekeeping and Booking.

Guest Service

In Guest Service, you welcome the guest right at the entrance and assist with most things. The tasks are very varied and can range from parking service to booking tables at restaurants, luggage service, providing tips about activities in Gothenburg, and various tourist information. Guest Service is also responsible for keeping the lobby and reception area in top condition and is constantly looking for opportunities to exceed the guest's expectations! To work in Guest Service, you must have held a B driver's license for at least 1.5 years and feel comfortable driving other people's cars.

Information about the positions

The positions are temporary contracts for the summer of 2026 at 80-100% starting in May-June, with the possibility of extension. We see it as an advantage if you can start working extra already during the spring at 20% (every other weekend).

The employment period runs from June 15 to August 16, with some possibility to start earlier or finish later. We cannot offer time off in the middle of the employment period.

The application deadline is March 15, but please note that recruitment is ongoing, so do not wait to submit your application! For those who wish, there is an opportunity to start earlier than the start date for introduction and training.
