The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health care, authority exercise, ordering of services, and provides care and support on its own. Your tasks

We are now looking for new colleagues in the home care service in Linghem and Bankekind who want to be part of our wonderful team! The employment rate is 100% and working hours are scheduled for days and weekends.

As a specialist nursing assistant with us, you will work with care tasks but also act as a specialist in the field with allocated time for supervision and follow-up. Your contributions are crucial in creating a meaningful and safe environment for our elderly, and we look forward to welcoming you to our dedicated workgroup!

The work includes both social interaction and practical care tasks. Your care tasks include, for example, assistance with transfers, personal hygiene, household chores, and medical interventions. You will work closely with nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to ensure that each care recipient receives the help and services they need. We work based on IBIC (individual needs in focus) and a salutogenic approach, which means that we focus on bringing out the residents' own abilities and seeing the healthy aspects.

In addition to being part of a multiprofessional team, we will also start a network for our specialist nursing assistants in the clusters we belong to.

Your workplace

The Health and Care Administration provides elderly care in municipal management in Linköping. Here, there are about 1200 permanent employees and a large number of substitutes. Linköping Municipality has a long and well-established experience in care and support for our elderly residents.

Linghem's sheltered housing, with associated home care, is just a short 10-minute walk from Linghem station. The area combines proximity to amenities with beautiful surroundings, situated between Linköping and Norrköping, and is easily accessible by train. Here we offer 20 apartments and support to customers in Linghem and surrounding areas.

In Bankekind's home care service, we work in Bankekind, Askeby, and Gistad and operate from our office on Linvägen in Bankekind. The work team consists of 18 employees as well as coordinators and a manager. With us, you will work to meet the individual needs of customers. Together with your colleagues, you are an important piece in creating a meaningful everyday life for our customers.

Our operations collaborate closely, which gives you the opportunity to work both in Linghem and Bankekind. Who you are

We are looking for you who are a trained specialist nursing assistant in any field and have experience working in support, care, and assistance. It is an advantage if you have experience working in home care. Since a central part of the position involves supervising colleagues and other staff, it is highly meritorious if you have previous experience as a supervisor or have completed a supervisor training. It is also desirable that you have knowledge of a salutogenic approach and low-arousal responses.

Work in elderly care involves a lot of customer contacts and documentation, which means that we require you to communicate orally and in writing in Swedish. You have a good ability to use digital tools in your work and have experience documenting in journal systems.

For the position, you need to be able to cycle, and we prefer that you have a driver's license for automatic cars as we sometimes use a car in the job.

As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks and are aware of goals and quality standards. You also work well with others, resolve conflicts constructively, and distinguish between personal and professional matters. You bring energy and enthusiasm to your work and are a knowledge resource for others, demonstrating a good understanding of how individuals absorb knowledge based on different conditions.
