JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a personal assistant/support assistant for operations within LSS. You will be part of a staff pool where you will be booked to different operations based on your availability. Working in a group home, as a personal assistant, short-term/recreational or within daily activities is a responsible job that provides personal development and much joy in return; you help create a meaningful everyday life for the user. As a personal assistant/support assistant, you provide support to the user in all aspects of life. You start from the person's individual needs and work consciously to ensure that the person can use their abilities as independently as possible. Each person has an individual implementation plan from which the support is based. You support and assist with personal care such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and transfers. Daily tasks such as cooking, laundry, and cleaning. Leisure activities and social contacts as well as delegated healthcare. The work is performed in the user's home, at the residence, daily activities, or at another location where the user is present. You will work every other weekend and have varying working hours; day, evening, night, on-call, weekend, and full days.

The work places high demands on your ability to collaborate, take initiative, and simultaneously follow established routines. As a personal assistant/support assistant, you are expected to follow established implementation plans and action plans, which form the basis for ensuring the quality of each user's individual needs. Your tasks include being attentive, having great patience, and using your pedagogical skills to support and guide users according to their individual needs. In this role, you are expected to collaborate with users, colleagues, relatives, guardians, and external contacts to work with the user in focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education at the upper secondary level: care and nursing program or child and leisure program with a focus on social work or other education deemed equivalent.

It is advantageous if you have experience working in operations according to LSS, HSL, low-affect responses, and clarifying pedagogy, as well as knowledge of AAC.

A criminal record extract is required.
