We are God Assistans, and as the name suggests, we provide personal assistance. We are located all over Sweden and have clients from Gällivare in the north to Malmö in the south.

This advertisement primarily concerns Värmland.

We are looking for several hourly substitutes for our operations. A role that we know is not entirely simple as it requires you to be flexible and adaptable to the business. However, if you choose to see this as a foot in the door to work and you show how good you are, there is a good chance that we will give you more assignments. In our operations, it is often the case that you start as an hourly substitute to work your way up to a permanent position.

The Role of a Personal Assistant:

Being a personal assistant is a multifaceted job. You act as the arms and legs of another person, and that task can take many different forms. Often, you help another person with their daily living activities. This means that you assist the person with various tasks such as: getting out of bed, dressing and undressing, hygiene, wound care, cooking, communication, interpretation - you name it. How much a person can manage varies, and therefore it is difficult to set an exact job description; it is tailored to each individual's needs.

You need to understand that your work is about helping another person to live a full life according to their abilities, and it is no simple task. You need to be adaptable, solution-focused, and caring as a person.

Who Succeeds in the Profession?

The people who function best as personal assistants are those who want to work. Who value being on time and being proactive in their communication. The professional role is built on personal relationships, both with the client and the client manager. You probably see yourself as empathetic, which means you think of others and have the ability to understand their situation. These qualities allow you to create perspective on life, and thus you wish to make another person's life better.

What Increases My Chances of Employment?

There are a few things we often discuss in interviews with our candidates. We check if you can work days, evenings, nights, and weekends because shifts can occur at any hour of the day. We check if you have a car and a driver's license, often to make it easier to get to work and sometimes because you will be driving the client's car. We also often check for allergies or whether you smoke or not. Sometimes clients have pets, and sometimes they prefer that you do not smell of smoke.

Finally, your attitude is of great importance. Initially, we will look at how you have written your cover letter; is it a template or is there thought behind it? If you want to work, we believe you will show it by being on time, being flexible, and seeing opportunities instead of obstacles.
