From the autumn semester of 2026, the Vocational College at Campus Nyköping has been granted an additional horse education program, Riding Instructor, which is why we are now looking for a new team member for our horse team! In this role, you will be part of the vocational college operations. Within the unit, there are, among others, a program manager, educational leaders, educational administrators, marketers, and educational consultants. Our operations are in constant change and development, and we are therefore looking for someone who thrives in such an environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will work on our two horse-related vocational education programs: Equine Therapist, which includes 600 YH credits and is studied over 3 years, and Riding Instructor, which includes 280 YH credits and is studied over 1.5 years. You will be part of a horse team consisting of 1 educational leader, 1 administrator, another 1 supervisor, and about 15 educational consultants. The vocational college also constitutes a workgroup with regular meetings consisting of about 25 colleagues. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for LIA (Learning in Work), the thesis for both programs, and Campus Nyköping's qualifying course in Horse Knowledge 2 (upper secondary level). Depending on your profile, more courses may become relevant. As the course responsible, you will work closely with our program leader and also serve as support in the implementation of the education. The position is based at Campus Nyköping's premises, but remote work is possible one day a week by agreement.

Examples of key responsibilities:

• plan, implement, and grade courses
• contribute to the design and development of course syllabi
• be responsible for LIA coordination and follow-up
• contribute to quality assurance and development of the education
• support the program leader with administration and student contacts

The Riding Instructor program has been granted 3 starts (autumn semester 2026, 2027, and 2028), and the project employment extends over the entire study period for the three classes. An extension of the employment may be relevant if we are granted additional rounds of the education.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• has a broad network within the equine industry
• has knowledge corresponding to at least Horse Knowledge 2
• is structured and meticulous
• has good IT skills and is accustomed to working with digital tools
• is communicative and has an easy time expressing yourself in speech and writing
• has experience writing reports or academic texts
• is passionate about helping others achieve their goals

It is advantageous if you have:

• relevant post-secondary education, such as hippologist, agronomist, riding instructor, or equine therapist
• pedagogical experience
• experience in vocational education
• experience working with the Moodle learning platform
