We are looking for a secure and inspiring classroom teacher for grade 2 who wants to contribute to our students' learning, development, and joy. The position is a fixed-term employment lasting until June 2027.

Skogsängsskolan is newly built with new facilities and a fantastic schoolyard. We have grown in recent years and are now a K-6 school with approximately 480 students. At Skogsängsskolan, we work together with a focus on collegial learning. We take a preventive approach to create good conditions for students' learning and safety. We always put the student at the center and consider the whole student's situation. We consciously work with differentiated and language-developing methods for higher goal fulfillment. We have both a counselor and a school nurse full-time, as well as a student health team that works preventively. To succeed in this work, we place great importance on norms, values, safety, and study peace. Part of this work is that we have an organized and well-functioning recess activity.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a classroom teacher in grade 2, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating your teaching based on the curriculum. You create a safe and stimulating learning environment where students' participation and desire to learn are central. You will be part of the F-3 team and collaborate closely with your colleagues. You hold development talks and have dialogues with guardians. With your knowledge and commitment, you provide our students with the opportunity to learn and develop.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification for grades 1-3. Alternatively, you may be in the process of completing your studies and expect to finish soon. You have experience in educational activities and have worked according to the applicable curriculum. You are comfortable using digital tools and have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

You are a clear and structured teacher who creates safety in the classroom. With a solution-oriented approach, you tackle challenges with curiosity and creativity. Collaboration is a natural part of your working method. You are happy to share your ideas and experiences and value collegial learning.
