We are a small private preschool in central Mariefred. We have been operating since 2010 and base our work on Montessori pedagogy mixed with traditional preschool pedagogy. The preschool is now looking to hire substitute teachers for spring 2026. The work involves us contacting the substitute teacher often at short notice when needed, for example, when the regular staff is sick or on leave. This may mean work for a day and sometimes several days.
The job involves working with the children in groups and performing practical tasks in our kitchen.
The tasks at the preschool require you to be flexible. You should be able to take initiative and be responsive to the children's signals. Since we are outdoors in all weather, dressing appropriately for the weather is something to consider.
The operation is divided into three groups with ages ranging from 1 to 6 years. We are a total of six people working at the preschool.
