Care Assistant/Specialist Care Assistant at Spångagården Elderly Home

In spring 2025, we will open a new department at Spångagården Elderly Home focusing on the elderly. Are you a care assistant or specialist care assistant who wants to provide high-quality care? Then you are warmly welcome to join us. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role while helping to build a new department. We offer 10 day positions, 9 care assistants, and one specialist care assistant.

Spångagården is located in Torshälla between the sports facility Torsharg, the residential area Edvardslund, and Edvardslund School. Here, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment where the well-being of the individual is always at the center. We highly value collaboration. Even though your main placement is in one unit, we help each other and work together throughout the entire facility. Now you have the chance to be part of the start in our new and modern premises.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant, you will provide personal care tailored to each individual's needs. You have a knack for motivating and supporting the users so that they can enjoy a pleasant, safe, and active daily life. In this role, you will have delegation, work with documentation, and create implementation plans. You will also be a contact person for some users. The new department will also offer various representative roles, such as hygiene, nutrition, incontinence, and safety representatives.

In the role of specialist care assistant, you will guide and support your colleagues in their daily work. This may involve assessments in various complex care situations such as interactions, approaches, documentation, and implementation plans. With us, you will also have the opportunity to mentor students and pupils. You will also support contact staff and other care personnel. An important part of the job is to plan, implement, and evaluate care interventions, and here we help each other to develop the operations forward.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant or specialist care assistant. It is a plus if you have work experience in care and support. If you have experience working in a documentation system, such as Viva, that is beneficial. Receiving delegation is a requirement, as well as being able to work days, evenings, and every other weekend according to new EU legislation.
