About Us

The Psychiatric Clinic is part of the division of psychiatry and disabilities. The mission of the operation is to provide specialized psychiatric care to adults with severe psychiatric illness in southern and western Sörmland.

The adult psychiatric clinic in Nyköping/Katrineholm (NLN/KSK) is organized in two locations, with about 270 employees, including over 20 doctors. In addition to these doctors, around 7 resident doctors and BT/ST doctors serve at the clinic during various periods. In Katrineholm, there is an outpatient clinic, and in Nyköping, there is both outpatient and inpatient care. Both locations have nursing teams, addiction clinics, and emergency services.

Your Responsibilities

The responsibilities consist of resident doctor tasks such as admitting and discharging patients, ward rounds, assessing patient status, documentation/consultations, and medication reviews. Weekend on-call may occur during the day. With us, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop in your medical role, and the work is independent with guidance from experienced colleagues.

Your Competence

We are looking for a licensed physician, preferably with experience in previous resident doctor assignments and an interest in psychiatry. Good communication skills in Swedish are required. A driving license (B) is desirable, as the operation is geographically spread out. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Employment Form

We offer you a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applied. Before hiring, a background check from the suspicion and criminal record register will be requested.
