Your Role

At Flight Critical Systems, we are looking for driven engineers who want to help shape the future of fighter aircraft. We are in an intensive and growing phase, and you should be ready to work with us to develop new technical solutions within basic aircraft systems. We work integrated with installation and adjacent areas to quickly find smart solutions to complex systems.

As a systems engineer with us, you will be responsible for requirements breakdown, architecture issues, and technical interfaces. In this area, we are looking at future autonomous flight concepts with supersonic capability, where the work consists of technology studies, ground demonstrators, and flying demonstrators.

The section's operational responsibility is system development and installation design for:

• Electrical power systems
• Fuel systems
• Hydraulic systems
• Cooling systems
• Landing gear and braking systems
• Engine integration
• Auxiliary power

The ambition is to be an agile organization that performs technology development in fast loops with significant learning.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with several years of experience who wants to be part of our organization, where we dare to try new things, challenge ourselves, but also dare to fail. You should be ready to embrace the lessons learned and move forward. You should be a team builder and have a good understanding of the operations you will work in.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
