Your Role

At Flight Critical Systems, we are looking for driven designers who want to help shape the future of combat aircraft. We are in an intensive and growing phase, and you should be ready to work with us to develop new technical solutions within system installation. We work integrated with system development and adjacent areas such as Hull Design, Structural Analysis, Industrialization, and Production to quickly find smart solutions to complex systems.

In this area, we are looking at future autonomous flight concepts with supersonic capability, where the work consists of technology studies, ground demonstrators, and flying demonstrators.

The section's operational responsibility includes system development and installation design for:

• Electrical power systems
• Fuel systems
• Hydraulic systems
• Cooling systems
• Landing gear and braking systems
• Engine integration
• Auxiliary power

The ambition is to be an agile organization that performs technology development in rapid loops with significant learning.

Your Profile

We are looking for you, a designer with several years of experience, who wants to be part of our organization where we dare to try new things, challenge the status quo, and also dare to fail. Being ready to embrace the lessons learned and move forward. You should be a team builder and have a good understanding of the operations you will work in.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may, in some cases, be requirements for specific citizenship.
