About Us

The Primary Care Education Unit is a producer-neutral unit that aims to support the skills supply of the Västra Götaland Region within the healthcare sector and ensure that the integrated education maintains high and consistent quality.

Organizationally, the unit belongs to the regional area of Research, Development, and Education in Primary and Close Care within the administration of Regionhälsan. The mission includes ensuring clinical training placements for healthcare units regardless of operational form and providing support to the operations in their educational assignments.

About the Job

As a study director, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the ordering process for clinical training placements regarding Work-Based Learning (VFU), Learning in Working Life (LIA), and Workplace-Based Learning (APL). In your role, you will work to ensure that quality requirements according to applicable agreements are met and maintained. You will also appoint and be responsible for the main supervisors in the area. The work is varied and stimulating and takes place in close collaboration with various primary care operations, universities, colleges, and other educational providers in healthcare and social care.

About You

We are looking for a licensed nurse or someone with another higher education in the healthcare field with a master's degree. We consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in education and supervision. As a person, we seek someone who is creative, positive, and has a strong interest in educational and development issues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability for the position as the work involves many contacts both internally and externally.
