About Us

The Eye Clinic in Uddevalla is one of Sweden's largest county clinics. We have a catchment area of approximately 280,000 inhabitants for outpatient care and surgery. The operations are divided into five process areas: Children/Orthoptics, Acute/General, Retina, Glaucoma, and Surgery. Each area has a process team.

About the Position

As an assistant nurse with us, you will work in a team. We constantly strive to maintain an efficient patient flow with a focus on patient safety and participation. Our operations are continuously improving, with our employees being proactive and involved. The position is located in our surgical department and involves work in the operating room and our unit for preoperative preparations.

About You

You should be easy to collaborate with and flexible enough to work within our processes at our reception when needed. If you do not have experience from eye surgery/eye clinic work, training will be provided. You need to handle a fast pace and be able to work independently. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Qualifications

• Assistant Nurse
• Previous experience in surgical nursing or ophthalmology is an advantage
