The Assignment

As a warehouse manager for our client in Hallsberg, you will be responsible for the operation and development of the warehouse activities. You will lead and coach warehouse employees, plan workflows, and ensure efficient processes for receiving, storage, picking, and distribution. The role includes personnel responsibility, accountability for monitoring key performance indicators, workplace safety issues, and driving improvement and efficiency work. You will collaborate closely with the management and other functions to meet the customer's delivery and quality goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead daily warehouse activities and shifts.

  • Plan staffing based on order volumes and customer needs.

  • Ensure that procedures for goods and quality control are followed.

  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (OTD, picking accuracy, inventory turnover, etc.).

  • Drive continuous improvement efforts and implement effective work methods.

  • Be responsible for workplace safety, security, and compliance with laws and guidelines.

  • Recruit, develop, and coach employees as well as manage personnel administration.

  • Collaborate with purchasing, customer service, and transportation to secure flows.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with experience in warehouse and logistics operations and documented experience in leading personnel in production or warehouse organizations. You are structured, solution-oriented, and enjoy improving processes while working towards clear goals. As a person, you are communicative, responsible, and possess good leadership skills that can motivate and develop your team.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in warehouse and logistics work, preferably in the role of team leader or warehouse manager.

  • Experience with personnel responsibility and leading shifts/operations.

  • Good understanding of inventory management, picking flows, and warehouse systems (WMS).

  • Results-oriented with experience working towards KPIs.

  • Good computer skills and experience in reporting.

  • Driver's license

  • Forklift license

Working Hours and Appointment

The position is full-time, and working hours may include daytime or shifts depending on the needs of the operation. Appointment according to agreement, selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
