The Position
As a Quality Engineer, you will be a central part of our work to ensure that our products meet customer requirements, legal requirements, and relevant standards. You will work operationally and support production, design, purchasing, and project office throughout the delivery process, from startup to final inspection. You will be an important resource in the daily quality work and contribute to creating clarity, structure, and good quality at all levels.
Travel in the position may occur, both domestically and internationally. A valid B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure deliveries in accordance with customer requirements, legal requirements, and standards
- Perform and coordinate inspections and tests which are documented
- Analyze and follow up deviations and drive improvement actions
- Provide operational support to production in quality issues
- Support customer projects with quality technical expertise
- Participate in quality matters with customers and suppliers
- Drive/participate in root cause analyses and development of quality routines and working methods
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and quality requirements
Your Profile
We believe that you have a natural desire to create order, quality, and structure, and that you thrive when you can be close to the operations and make a difference in the daily work. You have good communication skills and a practical, solution-oriented approach.
Desired Qualifications
- Technical education in quality, production, or a related field
- Experience in quality work within the manufacturing industry
- Good knowledge of relevant standards, such as ISO 3834, EN 1090, and/or ISO 9001
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documentation
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious
- Experience in non-destructive testing (NDT)
- Experience in customer and supplier audits
- Experience in project-based work
- Documented welding competence (e.g., IWS, IWT, or equivalent experience)
