About the Role

We at Securitas are currently looking for someone interested in working as a freight operator with us. Our working hours follow the freight terminal's opening hours, which are mainly afternoons and evenings on weekdays. If you enjoy a role where you work in a team but also take a lot of personal responsibility and have close customer contact, you could be the one we are looking for. It is advantageous if you already have x-ray training, but if you do not, we have the opportunity to train you.

This position is suitable for those who want to work extra in a needs-based employment to then work as a summer substitute during June-August

Working hours are usually Mon-Fri from 4 PM to 8 PM.

As a freight operator, you will work with security tasks and x-ray within air freight. As a freight operator, you are part of a dedicated group providing services to freight and postal terminals. Your job is to x-ray and check for all conceivable threats and to create a safe and secure freight and mail handling process.

Requirements

• You have approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license
• Pass a background check with the Swedish Transport Agency (application made by Securitas)

Meritorious

• Vu1 and Vu2
• Trained freight operator with x-ray training and DGR-Cat
• Experience in freight x-ray
• Experience in security work at airports
• Trained airport inspector

• The position is a needs-based employment with a start date according to agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
