Tullverket is hiring a National Security and Preparedness Coordinator

Tullverket actively works to create conditions for and develop security and preparedness within the organization. The Administration Department plays a central role in this development.

Tullverket's Security and Preparedness Unit leads, coordinates, and controls Tullverket's operational protection, security protection, signal protection, and preparedness.

The Security and Preparedness Unit currently consists of 18 employees and is led by Tullverket's Chief Security Officer.

About the position

As a National Security and Preparedness Coordinator, you will be a natural point of contact between the Security and Preparedness Unit and the security and preparedness coordinators in other parts of Tullverket.

This means that you will initially collaborate internally at Tullverket to structure the role for regional security and preparedness coordinators. You will also promote good information flow between the coordinators and the Security and Preparedness Unit and coordinate joint efforts.

Other tasks within the responsibilities of the Security and Preparedness Unit may also occur.

The role involves collaboration both internally at Tullverket and with external suppliers and partners.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Post-secondary education in security, preparedness, or other education combined with experience that Tullverket deems relevant for the role
  • Current work experience in independently handling/coordinating security and/or preparedness-related matters or other experience that Tullverket considers equivalent
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite
  • Strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Training as a security/security protection officer
  • Training as a preparedness officer
  • Signal protection training
  • Experience regarding exposure to security-sensitive operations
  • Experience in developing specific security protection assessments
  • Experience in risk and vulnerability analysis work
  • Experience in continuity planning
  • Experience working with military organization
  • Experience in working with threat and risk assessments

The position may involve travel within Sweden.

The employment is a permanent position and starts with a 6-month probationary period, with individual salary setting applied.

We place high demands on our employees' security and confidentiality awareness. Before a hiring decision, you will undergo a drug test and background check. Security clearance with record check according to the Security Protection Act will be conducted before employment, as the position is classified. Tullverket is a total defense authority, and upon employment, you may be assigned to military service in Tullverket.
