Sturköskolan is a F–6 school located in the archipelago, close to both the sea and the forest.

The school works with closeness and safety in relationships to awaken children's desire and curiosity through dialogue, active listening, and student participation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special educator/special teacher, you are responsible for developing and ensuring an accessible and inclusive learning environment. You work both at an overarching level and with targeted interventions at the group and individual level. Your tasks include:

• contributing to strengthening the school's preventive and promoting student health work.
• developing support measures and adaptations for classes and students.
• being responsible for pedagogical investigations, absence investigations, and action plans, among others.
• contact with guardians
• being flexible and able to make interventions in our special education groups.
• working with students in need of support both individually, in smaller groups, or providing support in regular classrooms.
• supervising teachers through coaching conversations and observations.
• being part of the development of the school's systematic quality work.

QUALIFICATIONS

You should be an educated special educator/special teacher with a basic education in primary school teaching.

We are looking for someone who is good at creating and strengthening collaborations internally and externally, as well as building new relationships and nurturing existing ones.

You are a problem solver who has the ability to analyze situations, identify solutions, and develop effective, actionable strategies to overcome challenges.
