Arena Education is an educational company that conducts adult education on behalf of municipalities and the Employment Service, as well as MYH (vocational college), in areas such as; Health and Care, Child and Leisure, Warehouse and Logistics, and Swedish for Immigrants, basic and upper secondary theoretical courses. We have agreements with over 70 municipalities across Sweden, from Helsingborg in the south to Umeå/Örnsköldsvik in the north.

We are now launching the position in our sister company Alea Kompetens in Blekinge and are in an exciting establishment phase.

With us, you will support participants who are studying vocational Swedish during or before a vocational education via the Employment Service.

The position involves working in collaboration with our other educators to assist participants who need extra support in the form of job-specific language training to maintain a good study pace throughout their education. This may involve providing language support, assisting with job-specific Swedish, or preparing and reviewing material with the participants.

The Vocational Swedish service is summarized below:

The Employment Service's Vocational Swedish is a combination of Swedish studies at a workplace and theoretical studies to provide you with the best conditions for working life.

Vocational Swedish prepares you for work, education, and/or a labor market education.

• Part A prepares you for a labor market education or internship
• Part B is Vocational Swedish combined with a labor market education or internship

Depending on which part you are studying, we will plan your time with us together with the Employment Service or with the company where you will be interning.

After the education, we will assess your:

• Listening comprehension
• Reading comprehension
• Discussion skills
• Writing skills
