Olofström Municipality is looking for a teacher in Wood and Metal Craft for grades 7–9 at Högavångsskolan.
About the School
Högavångsskolan is Olofström Municipality's secondary school, centrally located in Olofström, close to both nature, culture, and municipal services. The school has approximately 464 students in grades 7–9 and around 70 dedicated staff members who work together to create safe, inclusive, and knowledge-stimulating learning environments. We have good collaboration between subject teams and student health and continuously work to develop teaching so that all students can achieve their full potential.
Job Responsibilities
As a teacher in wood and metal craft, you will teach students in grades 7–9 and contribute to their knowledge development through varied and clear instruction. You will plan, implement, and follow up on teaching based on the curriculum goals and the school's common routines.
Your responsibilities include:
- creating motivating and structured learning situations that support all students' learning
- following up and assessing students' knowledge development
- developing good relationships with students and colleagues
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- is a certified teacher in wood and metal craft for grades 7–9
- has a strong commitment to students' learning and development
- has a good ability to create structure and safety in the classroom
- works well with colleagues and contributes to a positive and developing work climate
