JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a new employee for our Flight Technician Training.

You are expected to be involved in and take significant responsibility for the development of both individual courses and the school as a whole.

We are looking for a flight technician/instructor/vocational teacher for teaching future aircraft and helicopter technicians who wants to be part of developing the education and the school.

The school operates as a unit, so even if you are primarily placed within one of the educational tracks, training of both high school and vocational school students may be included in your tasks.

Your tasks will consist of planning and conducting teaching and practical training according to national and international regulations regarding Flight Technician Training. You will also be involved in the school's various development projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is development-oriented and has good knowledge in the field of aviation technology.

It is an advantage if you have experience in educational activities and working with young people, preferably in practical situations.

We also value industry experience and a good ability to communicate with representatives from other organizations within the industry.

We place great importance on your ability to collaborate and your contribution to a positive, inclusive, and creative work environment.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and communicate clearly with students and colleagues.

In your work, you plan, organize, and prioritize effectively.

• certification as a flight technician, or comparable competence.
• knowledge of international aviation regulations, primarily EASA part-145/66/147.
• several years of experience in maintenance and/or manufacturing of helicopters and/or airplanes.
• experience in aircraft maintenance, civil and/or military.
• good knowledge of Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have:

• worked in aviation technical operations for at least five years, of which two years as a certified technician according to EASA or EMAR-SE.
• experience in civil aircraft maintenance.
• experience in helicopter maintenance.
• experience in teaching young people, both theory and practice.
• worked with avionics/aero electronics.
• held or currently hold a part 66 certificate, category B1 and/or B2.
• have a degree from a teacher training program at a university.
• experience in project work, preferably in a leading position.

However, we do not require that you as an applicant be meritorious in all of the above areas!

You have good collaboration skills and a burning interest in driving the operations forward.

Great importance is placed on social skills and personal suitability.
