The Naval Warfare School is looking for you to help develop the Navy's personnel in English.
About the Unit
The Cadet Unit handles all future naval officers, either fully or partially. The unit conducts training for specialist officers and reserve officers, as well as practical training for officer students with a naval focus. The unit is also responsible for training in the subjects of language, physical combat readiness, leadership, and pedagogy. The workplace is located within the Naval Base in Karlskrona, close to modern classrooms and simulators. The position is primarily based in Karlskrona, but travel may occur as part of the job.
Main Responsibilities
- Be responsible for planning, implementation, and evaluation of courses in military and maritime English based on applicable governing documents
- Integrate military and maritime English into other training through collaboration with other teachers and instructors within the Naval Warfare School
- Be responsible for the development of the subject of military and maritime English within the Naval Warfare School and participate in meetings and collaboration with other language teachers within the Armed Forces
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
- Academic degree with English as the main subject or other relevant education or experience deemed equivalent by the employer
- Relevant experience in planning and conducting training

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability in the appointment of this position.
DESIRABLE
- Certified teacher at the upper secondary level
- Experience in teaching or training initiatives for adults
- Experience working or training in the Armed Forces
- Maritime and military English

Employment type: Permanent civilian employment. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.
Employment rate: Full-time.
Work location: Karlskrona.
Start date: By agreement.
Salary: Individual salary setting applies.
