Nättraby Knowledge Center (NKC) is a modern F-9 school with integrated after-school care. We offer, among other things, leadership profiles and aesthetic profiles. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of career and guidance counselor at Nättraby Knowledge Center (NKC) involves work towards grades F9 and Hasslö school. We expect you as a guidance counselor to have the ability to see the whole picture and create coherence in the guidance work throughout the student's school journey. This requires good structure in the work and a well-developed ability to collaborate.

The role involves working with issues related to guidance conversations about orientation choices, individual choices, and other areas concerning students' high school years, guidance conversations about post-secondary studies, as well as other common tasks such as study conversations, participation in parent meetings, and other information for students. The role also includes having an active role in the student health work at the school.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in career and guidance counseling. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability as this role requires you to be service-oriented, communicative, and responsible. We see that you have experience working as a career and guidance counselor characterized by well-functioning student contacts and good collaboration skills with parents and other school staff. You enjoy guiding others and have a good ability to see solutions to problems that may arise. It is also important to us that you enjoy working in a team.
