As a system engineer, you will be responsible for one of our central units in the electronic warfare system. You will work closely with hardware development, design, testing, and production – and you will follow the product throughout its entire lifecycle. You will work with:
- Requirements analysis, design support, and prototype development
- Planning, defining, and executing tests
- Integration, device validation, and working with test rigs
- Collaboration with the lead design engineer on product strategy and roadmap
- Support to production and expert assistance as needed
- Modifications and maintenance during the lifecycle of the systems
- Collaboration with several internal development groups – from RF and electronics to device and systems
You will work on one or more projects simultaneously and have a central role in the core of the technology – for example, units such as receivers, transmitters, and antenna systems that warn pilots of radar threats. Your Profile We are looking for someone who loves hardware, systems development, and complex technology. You thrive in a role where you can think analytically, drive issues forward, and collaborate cross-functionally. Qualifications (mandatory)
- Bachelor's or master's degree in technical physics, electrical engineering, or similar
- At least 3 years of experience as a system engineer or in hardware-related development
- Experience in hardware development, HW testing, HW integration, or related areas
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
The assignment is classified. Prior to employment, you will need to undergo a security clearance and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations. NOTE: This requires certain citizenship. Desirable experiences
- RF or microwave technology
- Experience from the defense industry, rail, automotive, or medtech
- Experience in HW testing, HW qualification, or work according to ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288
- Familiarity with INCOSE or aviation industry standards (ARP4754, ARP4761, DO-254)
