Experienced Technical Expert Wanted for Cyber Defense

The Operational Department of the Cyber Defense Command is seeking an experienced technical expert.

Main Responsibilities

As a technical expert within the Cyber Defense Command, you will work in an operational environment where your technical skills and experiences are placed in a strategic context. Together with your colleagues, you will develop and lead the Armed Forces' technical development to improve technical support for command within cyber defense and cyber operations.

You will participate in the department's work with requirements gathering, technical requirements specification, and technical development together with other parts of the Cyber Defense and the Armed Forces.

The work includes international and national collaborations.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Experience in technical leadership within IT development, e.g., as a manager or project leader
• Experience in technical development in a DevOps organization
• Experience in technical development work in a cloud environment
• Good knowledge of cybersecurity
• Degree from a university or equivalent qualifications.

Meritorious

• Several years of work experience in the IT security field
• Work experience within the defense sector
• Experience in developing systems for cybersecurity, situational awareness, and/or redundant/complex systems
• Documented experience in cybersecurity, cyber operations, or equivalent.

Personal Attributes

• Very good ability to work independently.
• Very good ability to collaborate and communicate in both spoken and written form
• Good ability to structure and solve problems.

Other

The position is full-time, permanent employment with a six-month probationary period. Start date by agreement. The position is open to both civilian and military personnel. The workplace is in Stockholm.
