Assistant Nurse for Psychosis Care Stockholm
We are now looking for an assistant nurse who wants to help shape the future of psychosis care.
Stockholm County Council, SLSO, is forming a new operation - Psychosis Care Stockholm, where all outpatient clinics and inpatient wards for patients with psychotic disorders will be gathered within the new operation.
Ward 4 is a department that primarily receives patients with psychotic disorders. The ward has 14 care places, of which one is reserved for voluntary admission. The ward is located at S: Görans hospital area, which is centrally located, close to the city's pulse and good communication opportunities.
We are committed to conveying a humanistic value base and creating a dignified care environment for our patients. The ward is multiprofessional and consists of nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, and social workers. By offering supportive conversations, we encourage our patients to engage in activities, exercise, and maintain good eating habits.
The ward is working to implement Safewards, which is a method to ensure care for patients and strengthen their ability to influence the activities offered by the ward.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for someone with an interest in patients with psychotic diagnoses. You are a positive person who wants to contribute to the development of the ward together with us. As an assistant nurse, you will be responsible for psychiatric and somatic care together with your colleagues. You will support your colleagues in daily work and participate in planning, performing basic care, supportive conversations, and documentation in the Take Care journal system.
Qualifications
A completed assistant nurse education with a protected professional title is required. We are looking for someone with a passionate interest in the patient group. You should be driven, flexible, and creative. You should find it easy to collaborate and have the ability to work both independently and in a team. Longer experience with the patient group is an advantage, as well as psychiatric education and/or training as a Bergen instructor.

You should be calm, secure, and flexible. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Conditions
Permanent employment day/evening and work 2 out of 5 weekends.

- background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
- employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment examination, according to applicable directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment.
- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
