Your Role

As a psychologist, you will be responsible for the course within Professional Development (PU) in the dental program and participate in the entire integrated PU chain throughout the education. Professional Development includes areas such as communication, reception, psychological aspects of care, ethical reasoning, stress management, and professional attitudes related to both clinical and educational contexts. The position also includes participation in research-related tasks. This involves participating in research projects and contributing to applications for external research funding as well as supervising theses at both undergraduate and advanced levels.

Your tasks will also include:

• Teaching in the undergraduate program in pedodontics
• Participation in planning, implementation, and follow-up of teaching
• Supervision and involvement in theses
• Pedagogical development work within the educational programs
• Participation in competency development initiatives for the department's and University Dental Care's employees

Who are you?

Requirements:

• Degree in psychology
• Documented pedagogical skills in higher education
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Experience in teaching within dental education, dental psychology, professional development, or related fields
• Experience in education for professionals and ST dentists
• Clinical or operational experience from dental care or health care
• Experience in research relevant to education, communication, or psychological interventions in a care context
