The Movement Organs Center is a university hospital unit located in Umeå with approximately 225 employees. Together with the Surgery and Orthopedics Clinic in Skellefteå and Lycksele, we are responsible for all orthopedics in the region. The Movement Organs Center, Umeå is a University Hospital Unit (USVE) where research and student supervision are a natural part of clinical everyday life.
Our diverse operations within the Movement Organs Center are seen as stimulating by our staff as the activities are divided into different sections that provide a varied work environment and a medical knowledge base. We have a broad and deep operation that encompasses everything from assessments of patients' orthopedic problems, both acute and elective. This occurs in emergency services, outpatient clinics, wards, and surgery with extensive orthopedic surgery for fractures/trauma, spine, prosthetics, tumors, ankle/foot, shoulder, knee, sports, and pediatric orthopedics.
The Movement Organs Center is also responsible for the day surgery unit, DKE, located at NUS. At DKE, patients are cared for as part of the day surgical flow of several operating specialties.
DKE is part of the Movement Organs Center (ROC), which is responsible for the department's staff, operations, coordination, development, and coordination with other operating specialties.

At DKE, we care for patients before and after surgery and document and monitor vital parameters. Here you will work with patients from various surgical specialties. The work is carried out independently as well as in teams in a unit with high competence and in a high-tech environment.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in postoperative care is an advantage.
We are looking for someone interested in driving and developing the outpatient surgical operations at NUS. As a person, you are engaged and positive. The work requires you to have good collaboration skills and high flexibility, as well as the ability to work independently.
You have a good ability to think and work flow-oriented in a production-based environment.
