ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for substitutes and summer workers for the Öregården elderly home and Örträsk home care.

We work with people who need support, care, and assistance at Öregården elderly home and in Örträsk home care. Our job is to make a difference for both those living in our elderly home and in individual homes, so that their quality of life is as good as possible. We are looking for you who can substitute for us during the absence of regular staff, as well as those who want to work with us during the summer to a greater extent – or both.

Your tasks include performing care and nursing interventions at our elderly home and in individual homes. This means helping individuals with personal hygiene, light cooking, serving meals, cleaning, laundry, activities, outdoor excursions, and more. The work involves day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for individuals who are at least 18 years old. We consider it an advantage if you have training in care and nursing or equivalent education deemed comparable by the employer, but the most important thing for us is that you have an interest and commitment to working with people and want to support them in their daily lives. It is an advantage if you have a B driver's license as we also perform home care services with a car.

It is important for us that you have empathetic ability and are attentive to individual needs. You will be in daily contact with many people such as clients, relatives, and staff, which requires good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate, while also being able to work independently. Working with people means an exciting and changing daily life, and therefore we are looking for someone who can adapt in their work and prioritize based on current circumstances. This year, we have also worked on salaries and conditions for our summer substitutes, as you are important to us! This means that we will pay higher salaries than the central agreement during the summer months.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

Duration: Hourly employment and summer substitute positions from June to August.

Scope: Hourly employment and agreed employment level up to 100% during summer substitutes.

Start date: As agreed.
