The primary care area south consists of the health centers in Teg, Hörnefors, and Nordmaling. This position is based at the health center in Hörnefors.

As a general practitioner, you will work closely with team-responsible district nurses with a shared patient list, which creates good continuity and enables a personal and professional approach.

As a general practitioner with us, you will be part of an experienced medical team that currently consists of two general practitioners, ST doctors, and junior doctors. Our employees in other professional categories have extensive experience and great commitment, contributing to a safe and stable work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a specialist doctor with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe and acknowledged in their meeting with you.

In the role of general practitioner, you have close collaboration with team-responsible district nurses, where you together are responsible for a shared patient list. Through Tele-Q, the district nurses contact the patients and make an initial assessment, after which you jointly decide on further management. You handle the acute flow together and also design long-term care plans in consultation.

You have overall responsibility for your registered patients, which means that you follow them over time and ensure good medical quality and continuity of care. The work is characterized by meetings with people of all ages, with all sorts of health-related problems. In the general medical specialty work, you will follow an individual's various health issues over time and in the assessment, weigh in the person's entire life situation. As a specialist, you are expected to support doctors in training in their ongoing work and mentor during designated mentoring time. You are also expected to be an active part of the medical group's and health center's meetings, dialogues, and improvement efforts.

On-call duty in primary care is included in the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this job, you need to be a specialist in general medicine. An interest in mentoring students and training doctors is important.

You are a present and positive person who, with knowledge and care, sees the patient and can adapt care according to the needs that exist. You enjoy collaborating and being there for other people, both patients and colleagues. You function well in the working methods required in primary care and make your workday function based on the commitments expected of a specialist doctor. You see opportunities and can manage your workday even when patient pressure is high by independently making decisions in the matters you face.

We require good knowledge of the Swedish language.
