Care Assistants Wanted for Tegs Care and Nursing Home

The elderly care in Umeå municipality aims to be a resource that liberates and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life through proximity and interaction.

Tegs Care and Nursing Home is beautifully located by the Ume River, about 2 km from Umeå city center, close to lovely green areas. The facility consists of 102 apartments divided into 10 units and has a café, a community room for activities and entertainment, as well as a light room.

We are now looking for three care assistants to strengthen our team!

Your Responsibilities

With a professional approach and a good attitude, you will assist our residents in their daily lives. The residents' right to participate is in focus, and you contribute to ensuring that services are performed with good quality, according to the assistance decision and implementation plan.

You will assist with tasks such as showering, laundry, cleaning, meals, and other services. Your responsibilities will also include documenting actions and health status, as well as medical tasks based on delegation from the responsible nurse.

Scheduled working hours during the day/evening and weekends.

About You

In your interactions with the residents, it is essential that you are empathetic, driven, and solution-focused, as well as possessing personal maturity. You demonstrate a strong commitment to both the individual and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and have a good ability to collaborate and cooperate with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals. We place great importance on your personal suitability.

Requirements

• Qualified care assistant
• Experience in nursing work
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, to communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, and to write and understand care documentation and receive medication delegation

Meritorious

• Experience in dementia care
• Experience in medication delegation
• Experience in elderly care

Heavy lifting may occur, and mobility aids should be used. Smoking and pets may be present, so you should not be allergic.
