About the position

At the Infectious Department 4 (I64), the work and pace are varied as we care for patients with complicated infectious diseases such as sepsis, severe respiratory infections, and infections in the central nervous system, skeleton, skin, and soft tissues. We have a strong sense of community in the department and place great importance on a good work environment and high patient safety. We help and support each other and aim to provide the best care for our patients. Operational development is an important part of our short-term and long-term strategic work, and we actively work on professional development and nursing development.

The tasks are varied and include, for example, medication management, handling of central lines and drains, arterial and venous blood sampling, and handling of medical technology equipment such as monitoring and Optiflow/high-flow oxygen therapy.

We are looking for several employees for permanent positions as well as maternity leave substitutes. The maternity leave substitutes cover the period from March 2026 to December 2027.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed nurse

Meritorious:

  • Previous experience in infectious care and/or emergency care
  • Degree from the Specialist Nursing Program in Infectious Care
