Botvids Health Center is a small, privately owned health center that has a care agreement with Region Stockholm. The health center is located in Hallunda center and was opened in May 2023 by a group of specialist doctors and psychologists, who together with other staff have many years of experience working in Hallunda. We know the area and its population well and place great importance on good service, continuity, and accessibility. Our staff speaks several different languages in addition to Swedish, such as Arabic, Turkish, Syriac, Cantonese, Mandarin, Polish, Finnish, Russian, Sorani, Pashto, and English. The service is appreciated by patients, as reflected in very good results in the National Patient Survey, which means we are steadily increasing the number of registered patients and now have over 5300 registered patients. We have an open climate and round patients between professions daily to increase the conditions for using our resources in the best way. We have a well-functioning psychosocial team, with good accessibility for assessment and treatment of our patients, including more specialized treatment such as EMDR therapy for PTSD. In addition, we have expanded our mission for mental health for children and adolescents, staffed by child psychologists and psychotherapists with many years of experience. We are now in an exciting development phase, so your ideas and insights will be of great importance. You will be part of a team consisting of psychologists, psychotherapists, specialist doctors in general medicine, ST doctors, nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, administrators, and medical secretaries.

About the position:

The work as a PTP psychologist at Botvids Health Center involves working with children, adolescents, and adults. The tasks for the position follow the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations on practical training for psychologists and are centered around assessment, psychological counseling, and treatment of mild to moderate mental health issues in children and adults. In your role, you will work with the treatment of common conditions in primary care such as depression, anxiety disorders, pain problems, stress, life crises, and trauma. The work also includes in-depth assessments, care level assessments, and referrals when necessary.

As a PTP psychologist, you will be part of the health center's psychosocial team and work closely with your colleagues. We are a group with broad and solid knowledge of psychiatric diagnostics and psychological treatment, and you will receive good support from your senior colleagues and supervisors. We strive to provide a high-quality response to our patients and individualize our efforts based on evidence-based practice. We have a high level of engagement and a relational focus regardless of the method. You will work both with individual patient contacts and with group treatments and lectures for patients on mental health.
