Magelungen Utveckling is an employee-owned company that offers qualified treatment and change work for children, adolescents, young adults, and their families. Magelungen conducts treatment as well as resource schools at the elementary and high school levels. The goal is to create a context in the operations that is manageable, meaningful, and understandable. In all operations, research and evaluation are an integrated part.

Company Description

Magelungen Utveckling AB is an employee-owned company founded in 1993. Magelungen BO is a unit within the company that works with supported housing/training apartments for young people/young adults. We also tailor external assignments before and after moving out, as well as coaching assignments, etc. The operation offers a 24/7 emergency phone service. We are currently a team of 4 people working in the operation: 2 coordinators, 1 coach, and a manager. We are currently in an expansive phase and therefore need to expand the staff with an additional part-time coach.

Target Group

Our target group is young adults. We accept placements according to SoL, LVU, and LSS. We work with varying issues, including neuropsychiatric disabilities, psychosocial problems, and risk behaviors that may lead to substance abuse or criminality. We also accept unaccompanied refugee children/youth and issues related to honor.

Job Description

The coach works on behalf of the coordinators and based on implementation plans developed together with the resident, the network, and the client. In the work, it is the coach's task to support and inspire the resident to release their resources to work towards an independent life.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or equivalent higher education. We prefer that you have experience working with the target group or similar work.

Since our residents have school/internship during the day, coaches mostly meet their youth in the evenings and on weekends, so evening and weekend work is included in the job.

Driver's License

A B driver's license is required.

Working Hours/Duration

6 months probationary employment followed by permanent employment.
