We are just over 120 employees, ensuring that the shared water and sewage systems work optimally in Färgelanda, Munkedal, Sotenäs, and Uddevalla. One of society's most important tasks. Since sewage treatment must function even during the holiday season, we need temporary reinforcement.

Laboratory Work Combined with Sampling and Control

We are looking for a summer substitute who handles sampling and analysis of wastewater. Control and maintenance of our samplers and online meters that control the purification process are also part of the job. You will play an important role in independently managing sampling, sending samples to an accredited lab, and performing a number of analyses on wastewater.

Your work will involve handling sampling at all three treatment plants in Sotenäs municipality. All work performed is documented in logs and communicated to the regular operations staff to ensure the plants can operate optimally. You will work both independently and alongside regular staff.

About You

We are looking for someone who is interested in working in a laboratory and curious about understanding the context of why analyses are performed. As a person, you are driven, engaged, and enjoy keeping things organized. You can plan and structure your work and document results of completed tasks. In addition to being able to build good relationships with others, you are also flexible, meticulous, and responsible. How you are as a person and that we enjoy working together is important to us.

Requirements

• High school education, ongoing or completed
• Driver's license (manual)
• Good computer skills
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious

Education or experience in:

• Laboratory work
• Operation and/or maintenance of sewage facilities
• Chemical and/or biological processes
