Job Description

As a Production Engineer, you will play a central role in developing and quality-assuring the company's production processes in line with the organization's goals. You will work both independently and in project form with improvement work, technology development, and production efficiency.

You will work closely with various functions within the organization and have regular contact with external suppliers and partners, both nationally and internationally.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvements within assigned production areas.
  • Analyze the current situation and develop and implement action plans in line with the organization's goals.
  • Lead and/or participate in projects with responsibility for scheduling, follow-up, and results.
  • Work with production preparation, layout, capacity optimization, and process efficiency.
  • Ensure that production is conducted according to applicable quality requirements, routines, and product standards.
  • Contribute to high availability, productivity, and a safe working environment in production.

Authorities:

  • Create and manage cases in KOLL365.
  • Create, update, and manage governing documents in the business system.
  • Create and modify preparation information in the MPS system, such as Jeeves.
  • Make decisions on quality issues according to established guidelines.
  • Stop production if there is a risk of personal injury, quality deficiencies, or safety deviations.
  • Initiate and drive improvements and development of working methods and processes within production.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

  • Several years of experience in production engineering within the manufacturing industry.
  • University or post-secondary education in production engineering, industrial economics, automation, or equivalent.
  • Documented experience in driving projects according to project directives with clear goals regarding time, cost, and results.
  • Very good knowledge of project methodology and experience working systematically with follow-up and reporting.
  • Broad technical competence in automation, machine control, production equipment, and inline controls.
  • Good understanding of LEAN, flow analysis, and production optimization.
  • Experience with MPS systems, preferably Jeeves.
  • Experience in conducting balancing, creating work instructions, following up results, and initiating improvement measures.
