We are looking for someone interested in psychiatry who wants to help shape the future of psychiatric care.

About our open position

As a nurse at the psychosis/PTSD outpatient clinic, you will work with all patient groups. Your tasks will include medical and nursing assessments and treatments. You will conduct individual patient conversations and group sessions. You will develop collaboration and have good knowledge in executing safe and effective discharges. You will work to promote health and conduct annual health conversations. Together with the patient and their relatives, you will create good conditions for effective planning, documented in the care plan.

We are looking for an engaged and driven nurse who is passionate about psychiatry and wants to try working in a psychiatric outpatient clinic. The position is a one-year temporary contract, with the possibility of extension or permanent employment.

About Us

The psychosis/PTSD outpatient clinic assesses and evaluates patients referred from primary care and provides specialized psychosis care and treatment for complex PTSD. The clinic employs caregivers, nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, family therapists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, secretaries, and a unit manager.

The clinic has four different knowledge teams that specialize in various areas. One team works on basic assessments for new patients, another team focuses on young adults experiencing their first episode of psychotic symptoms. The third team is tasked with developing and providing treatment for individuals with complex PTSD, while the fourth team works on developing care content for psychosis patients who require longer-term care. We collaborate closely with inpatient care and develop an integrated approach in our care chain.

In matters concerning housing, employment, or other support, we collaborate with the municipality and/or other relevant agencies.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with at least four months of professional experience. Experience in psychiatric inpatient care and specialized training in psychiatric care is advantageous. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, good collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently. We also hope you are a positive and flexible person. You are not afraid of challenges and are committed to providing excellent care and working on the development of patient care.

Due to our large catchment area, you will need a driver's license to conduct home visits and collaborate with other stakeholders.
