About us

Clinical physiology is a service operation with referrals from all over Västra Götaland. The operation is open during daytime, weekdays. Regardless of which site you work at, you can expect a high technological standard and quality awareness.

We are about 190 employees who together handle a wide range of examination methods within ultrasound (heart, vessels, kidneys), nuclear medicine including; PET/CT and PET/MR, as well as exercise and lung physiology. We work in teams with BMA colleagues, radiology nurses, doctors, and administrators. As an employee, we want to give you the opportunity to develop in your professional role and use a career development model for that purpose.

About the position

As a BMA in Clinical Physiology, you will have both breadth and the opportunity to specialize in one of our methods. You thrive in a dynamic environment with both routine work and the chance to help develop operations at one of the country's largest clinical physiology departments. Clinical Physiology Sahlgrenska operates at all three hospital sites: Sahlgrenska, Östra, and Mölndal, where the Children's Physiology department at Drottning Silvia's Children's and Youth Hospital is also included in the operation. Even if your primary placement is at one of the sites, there is an opportunity to work across our entire operation.

About you

We are looking for a biomedical analyst with Swedish authorization. Experience in clinical physiology or nuclear medicine is an advantage. We value competencies such as being meticulous and responsible.

You have good collaboration skills, a pronounced service mindset, and can work both independently and in a team. Since examinations can be of an acute nature, we wish for you to be structured and have good problem-solving skills. The work requires that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great importance on personal suitability.
