About the job

As a care assistant with us, you play an important role in creating a safe, meaningful, and dignified everyday life for our short-term residents.

You work from a rehabilitative and person-centered approach, focusing on the individual's resources and strengths.

Your tasks include personal care, support during meals, and motivation and encouragement in daily activities. You provide social support and engage in conversations with residents, as well as collaborate with relatives and other professionals. The work also includes documentation in the organization's IT system and tasks performed on behalf of licensed personnel.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends according to a roster.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained care assistant
• Has a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare for protected professional title or can prove previous employment as a care assistant under the new regulations.
• Has good experience with documentation in IT systems
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Further education in health and care
• Experience in elderly care or short-term operations

In this role, you will meet many people, which requires good collaboration skills and the ability to work towards common goals. You are respectful and attentive in your meetings and always have the residents' best interests in focus. Since the work may involve changes in planning, you need to be able to remain calm, handle various demands, and prioritize when the situation requires it.
