Ekerö Vårdcentral is a large healthcare center with approximately 65 employees and 20,000 registered patients.

The home healthcare (HSV) consists of a team of 13 colleagues including nursing assistants, registered nurses, and district nurses. We are a close-knit group that together takes care of our approximately 220 registered patients in a beautiful cultural landscape. HSV works in smaller groups where nurses distribute the day's tasks. We visit our patients by walking, cycling, or driving.

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for you, a certified nursing assistant, nursing student, or medical student who is curious and interested in working with us in home healthcare this summer.

As a substitute, you will assist in caring for our most ill elderly patients in their homes. This includes medication administration, wound care, injections - e.g., insulin, sample collection, catheter care, and leg bandaging.

Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out with care and professionalism. The work is primarily performed independently, but support from colleagues is always available.

Qualifications

You are either a trained nursing assistant with certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a student in a healthcare profession. Experience in primary care, home healthcare, or geriatrics is an advantage. We document in Take Care, and it is a plus if you have experience with documentation. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language.

Requirements: B driver's license for automatic/manual car and the ability to cycle.

It is important that you are a positive, flexible, and solution-oriented person. You enjoy collaborating but can also work independently.

Additional Information

Working hours are 75-100%.

Working hours are weekdays from 07:00.
