JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a psychologist with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

In the role of psychologist at Morö Backe health center, you will be part of our psychosocial team alongside psychiatric nurses and social workers. You will meet patients early in the first line and perform treatment work both individually and in groups. Your responsibilities include assessing and treating mild to moderate mental health issues according to the care practices established by Region Västerbotten.

We work with a health focus and continuous follow-up of individuals with mental disabilities. Together with colleagues, you contribute to developing working methods that promote patient safety, accessibility, and a good working environment.

You will be placed at Morö Backe Health Center together with a colleague, but your efforts may also include assignments within the base unit, primarily at Morö Backe Health Center. Within the North area, there are opportunities for collegial support and collaboration. Group supervision is also offered alongside other psychologists in primary care in Skellefteå.

Work at the health center means daytime hours, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of remote work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed psychologist. Previous experience in primary care and psychiatric work is an advantage.

You are a present and warm person who, with expert knowledge and care, makes the meeting with the patient better and safer. The work is directed towards both adults and children.

It is important that you have the ability to collaborate and see yourself as part of a team working together for the patient's well-being. It is also crucial that you have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work.
